Once a year we have a day dedicated to protecting and celebrating our Earth. As part of the GLS community, we know that you work every day to do your part — but can you do more? 

The GLS team is asking for your support this year to help restock the supplies for our hands-on activities that we use for our youth programming. 

As highlighted in our recent blog post, our dedicated educators consistently go above and beyond to offer enriching, hands-on activities that enhance students' learning journeys. From making advocacy buttons to organizing pizza parties for the classroom with the highest recycling participation, we strive to make every learning moment memorable. Additionally, through initiatives like distributing BEE Green In Your Backyard activity books, we aim to instill a sense of environmental stewardship in Detroit's youth from an early age. With your invaluable support, we can empower the next generation to champion sustainability efforts not just on Earth Day, but every single day.
